Aromatics of cedar plank and black pepper lead to flavors of huckleberry, black cherry and coffee bean. This wine is medium- to heavy-bodied with ample tannins that leave a long finish with nutty, bright acid, pomegranate and savory oregano flavors. This wine will pair well with spicy foods, hearty beef stews, braised pork shanks and most red meats that are not too lean.
